How were the beginnings of the company?

Apolo was born at the beginning of the year 2001 in a town in the southeast of the province of Córdoba, Justiniano Posse, founded by Fabio Moriconi while Argentina was going through an economic, political, and social crisis that led to the corralito, at that precise moment, where almost all national industries were collapsing, we decided to bet.

It all started as a family micro-enterprise, the business was reached through a market study, which, thanks to obtaining a loan for micro-entrepreneurs from the government of Córdoba, we were able to buy some old machines, rent a shed and remodel its facilities to start with the production of compressed air pellets.

How did they manage to expand?

Over the months and years, we carried out a market study and we could see that we could be competitive worldwide, even with 1 to 1 of our currency with respect to the dollar, and we imagined an export company, being very difficult to achieve. from inside.

In 2004 we achieved our first export to a neighboring country, Chile. New commercial terms and sales channels appeared, intermediaries, a whole world unknown to our minds. But we made it and that was the turning point that opened up our desires completely.

In 2007 we traveled to China to be able to expand our commercialized products and we began to import camping and hunting products.

Between 2018 and 2019, we analyzed that our marketing was aimed at a very particular sector, which was athletes (target practice) or hunters, so the idea arose of starting to expand into another line of products for a broader market, to be able to reach other sectors such as camping, mountaineering, outdoor activities, business gifts, fishing, among others. Thus the Explorer Apolo brand was born.

What products do they sell?

Thermal products such as thermos, mates, glasses and bottles, being very careful in the quality and aesthetics of the products.

Currently, after a global pandemic, where many factories and businesses were strongly negatively affected, we had the opposite impact, significantly increased our sales nationwide and specified new sales channels, fulfilling the objective of expanding the commercialized sector. .

In which countries do you sell your products?

Our brand, Explorer Apolo, is not only sold in Argentina, but also in neighboring countries such as Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay.

What are your goals for the coming years?

The challenge for the near future is the expansion of products, adding light bulbs, flower bags and inflatable mattresses.
