Newcastle United, one of the English Premier League teams, commemorated Atakaş Hatayspor’s Ghanaian football player Christian Atsu, who lost his life in the February 6 earthquake, with a post on social media.
The post read: “One year ago, we sadly lost Christian Atsu in the most tragic circumstances. He is an incredible person who is remembered with love by everyone at Newcastle United. Our thoughts are forever with Christian’s family and friends.” statements were included.
Atsu once played for Newcastle United.
