Interfestation at the English Premier League club Newcastle United: coach Eddie Howe was hospitalized on Friday evening, as the club announced on Saturday. The 47-year-old had “felt uncomfortable for a few days”.
Howe spent the night in the hospital to undergo further tests by the medical staff. “He is conscious, speaks to his family and is still professionally supervised,” said the message. The club wished his coach a quick recovery. Further information wants to announce Newcastle in due course.
Howe fails for the home game against Manchester United. As Newcastle confirmed, Jason Tindall and Graeme Jones will therefore look after the team against the “Red Devils”.
Howe had taken over the “Magpies” in 2021 and subsequently saved them from the Premier League before relegation. A year later he led his team to the Champions League. In mid -March he won the league cup with Newcastle. In the final, FC Liverpool was defeated 2-1. It was the first national title for the club for 70 years.
