The Braunschweig fashion retailer New Yorker has entered into a cooperation with the streaming platform Cliq. The Cliq Digital Group is headquartered in Düsseldorf and sells subscription-based streaming services that bundle films and series, music, audio books, sports and games for consumers around the world. Cliq Digital now operates in more than 40 countries.
A visible sign of the new cooperation is the New Yorker x Cliq campaign, which will take place from September 15th to October 15th in 260 New York stores throughout Germany as well as on the two partners’ online platforms. As part of the partnership, New York customers have the opportunity to use the Cliq flagship streaming service free of charge for three months. This offer makes it possible to test all Cliq content without obligation. After the test phase has ended, the monthly price of 6.99 euros is due. The membership is cancelable at any time.
The campaign is intended to appeal to young, fashion-conscious people and entertainment fans alike. “The target groups of both companies are well aligned due to their shared price awareness and common interests,” says the press release. Luc Voncken, CEO of Cliq, adds: “The partnership between New Yorker and Cliq is a perfect fit because both brands create experiences for their customers in different ways that appeal to a broad target group. By working together, we offer an incomparable selection for entertainment fans and fashionistas – at affordable prices.”
The campaign is accompanied by various online and offline visuals, radio spots at the POS and an LED wall in the New York flagship store in Braunschweig.
