Oy produces its collections from recycled fabrics. The thread for this is provided by supposed waste such as old fishing nets, scraps of fabric or plastic bottles. These are produced in Italy and Slovenia. Oy deliberately chose these production facilities to keep transport routes short. This keeps the CO2 balance low. Oy’s goal is to one day produce a product that can be fully recycled.
About Oy
Oy was founded in Bali and Switzerland in 2012. Since then, Oy has been producing surf, yoga and active wear that meet the high standards of functionality without compromising on design and sustainability. Oy has been supplying Kund since 2013inside around the world. In 2017, an additional mainstay was established in Berlin, which for EU customersresulted in lower transport costs inside. Oy has always stood for good quality, functionality and flexibility – not only in possible combinations, but also in the company structures. Since 2020, Oy has been run by the siblings Zelia and Dario Zadra — in Zurich and in Berlin. While Zelia takes care of the cuts, production in Portugal, marketing and Swiss shipping, Dario is responsible for the online shop, shipping from Berlin and internal processes.
