Ua “house by the sea” that sails along the most beautiful routes in the world. For cruise lovers, a new name made its debut last July: Explore Journeys, (explorajourneys.com/it/it) MSC luxury brand, which focuses on a new style of travel on the sea to the rediscovery of slowness: longer stops in port, slower travel paces and the opportunity to spend more time in each destination, with several overnight stays in ports in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Red Sea and Arabian Peninsula. First ship of the fleet, Explora I, to be followed by Explora II (August 2024), III (2026) and IV (2027).
On board Explora I we depart from Miami and spend 14 fairy-tale days from island to island (22 December 2023 – 5 January 2024, trip starting from 8,400 euros per person) between Spanish Town, the British Virgin Islands, Guadeloupe, Antigia and Barbuda, Puerto Rico, Martinique, Saint Martin.
Or start the year in style: seven days (from 29 December 2023 to 5 January 2024, trip starting from 4,850 euros per person) from San Jaun to Miami. We leave on December 29th from San Juan, to reach St. Kitts, an Eden with its majestic mountains. For the night of December 31st, gala dinner under the starry sky and champagne toast.
The new year begins in Le Marigot, to breathe a French atmosphere, then continues to Charlotte Amalie, once a refuge for legendary pirates, and Magen’s Bay. The cruise ends on January 5th, with arrival in Miami: here the holiday continues between beaches, art, design and shopping.
New Year’s Eve cruise: suite with ocean view
Explora I has 461 suites, penthouses and oceanfront residences, with private terraces; six restaurants, twelve bars and lounges, four swimming pools. Itineraries for Explora I and Explora II (until April 2026) range from 6 to 8 nights to longer voyages of 19 to 21 nights, with easily accessible departure ports such as Civitavecchia, Barcelona, Miami or Bridgetown.
All Explora I trips
For those who like to plan their holidays in advance, Explora I (from October 2024 to April 2025) will sail in the Sea of
Caribbean. The Grand Journey from Barcelona will cross the Atlantic with stops in Bridgetown, Pointe-a-Pitre, St. John’s and San Juan. From April to November 2025, however, Explora I will sail in the Mediterranean, between the blue of the Aegean sea and the coast of Dalmatia. Finally, in the winter of 2025/2026, Explora I will sail the waters of the Red Sea.
