With a new world record, Nils van der Poel has won the 10 kilometers at the Winter Games. With wide sweeps and an astonishingly fast final lap of 28.6 seconds, he sharpened his own world record to 12.30.74. Patrick Roest was second, the Italian Davide Ghiotto third.
