Gant has appointed Thomas Bretscher as the new Director Wholesale for Central Europe.
In this role, Bretscher has been responsible for the brand’s wholesale business in this region since November, which, like Lacoste, Aigle and Tecnifibre, belongs to the Swiss fashion holding MF Brands Group, Gant announced on Friday on the career network Linkedin. The focus is on customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) as well as in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands (BeNeLux).
Before he said he set up his own consulting firm Blue Ocean Consulting, which is aimed at consumer goods and fashion companies, on Linkedin in mid-2022, Bretscher worked for the Hamburg fashion retailer Tom Tailor, most recently as country manager for Germany. Further stops included the trousers specialist Levi’s and the consumer goods provider Procter & Gamble.
