As of Monday 11 April, there will be changes to the protocol and test policy. These adjustments have been translated into the childcare and corona protocol by the sector parties in consultation with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment.

The protocol itself indicates where the protocol has been changed. The main changes in this version are:

  • No more testing at the GGD after a positive self-test: At the moment, everyone with a positive self-test must also have themselves tested at the GGD. This advice will expire on April 11. It is still possible for risk groups and healthcare workers to be tested at the GGD. Testing can also be done at the GGD for a proof of recovery.
  • Stay-at-home rules continue to apply. If the self-test is positive, you will stay at home.
  • Priority for childcare employees is no longer possible: Employees and childminders are now given priority when testing at the GGD. As a result of the expired advice to have a test at the GGD after a positive self-test, the priority arrangement for employees and childminders will also be cancelled.

Pregnant

The advice for pregnant employees (28 weeks and beyond) continues to apply. This means that it is still advised to organize other suitable activities for pregnant employees from the third trimester of their pregnancy.
