The sixth edition of Neo.Fashion will take place from September 6th to 8th as part of Berlin Fashion Week. The graduate program, which gives young designers a platform for promoting young talent in Germany, is moving into the Reinbeckhallen in Berlin-Oberschöneweide for the first time.
The hybrid event with shows and a showroom brings graduate shows with 11 universities and over 80 graduates to Berlin. In addition, the Neo.Fashion Award is presented, which honors the best graduates in Germany.
A jury of experts put together under the direction of the Fashion Council Germany (FCG) awards the awards. The winners will be chosen by the jury and the Neo.Fashion. Network made individual mentoring packages available.
A new format, the Aspiring Designers Showroom, is showing the designs of seventeen alumni, young designers and start-ups for the first time.
Designers from the Next Fashion School Addis Ababa from Ethiopia and graduates from the University of Kyiv from Ukraine will take part in the format as special guests.
The Foundation of the German Clothing Industry SDBI draws within the framework of the Neo.Fashion. 2022 will select the winners of the “European Fashion Award FASH” and organize its own fashion show.
