Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in signing young Argentinian Milton Delgado. Now new details are becoming known about the possible transfer request from his employer Boca Juniors.
According to information from “Sky”, BVB has to transfer a fee in the range of ten to 15 million euros to the traditional Argentine club Boca Juniors in order to sign midfield talent Milton Delgado. According to the TV station, there is an “agreement” between Boca and the player whereby a transfer will be approved provided the demands are met.
Most recently, in the wake of a possible move from Delgado to the Bundesliga, there was still a transfer fee of 20 million euros, which was said to have been anchored as an exit clause. Last January, the youngster signed a new contract in his home country with previously unknown clauses.
In addition to BVB, other Bundesliga clubs are also said to be interested in Delgado, including Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt. All three should closely monitor the player’s situation. There is also said to have already been a loose exchange.
Bayer grabs Hertha jewel – are BVB and Eintracht Frankfurt left?
It is currently unclear whether Bayer Leverkusen will spend so much money to sign another six-player. Last season’s fifth-place finisher in the Bundesliga only made the signing of top talent Kennet Eichhorn public on Wednesday.
Numerous top clubs from all over Europe vied for the youngster from second division team Hertha BSC, including BVB and Frankfurter Eintracht.
“We are very happy that we were able to convince Kennet Eichhorn of our concept. We had close contact with Kennet and his family a year ago, and a good connection developed between us back then,” said Bayer Managing Director Sport Simon Rolfes at the announcement. According to reports, the 16-year-old will be due a transfer fee of nine million euros plus a bonus that is said to be in the double-digit million range.
