New! Take a walk on this water route at the Noord Aa

You can now take a new 6.5-kilometre walk in the Noord Aa recreation area: the Water Walk. Along the way you will learn more about water management in our city.

In total you will be on the road for about 1.5 to 2 hours and you will listen to six audio fragments. Don’t forget to bring your headphones or audio set for the road.

Swamp Pearls

Some time ago we told you about the new marsh pearls in the Zoetermeer nature reserve. These are a kind of water channels where birds can live and insects are attracted. Good for biodiversity! You will learn more about this during the audio tour.
