The Mallorca Live Festival, presented by MUSIKEXPRESS, will be held again this summer in the Mallorcan town of Calvià. The line up with headliners like Christina Aguilera, Muse, Supergrass, Franz Ferdinand, C. Tangana, Milky Chance and Metronomy has already been announced. Now the event boasts an additional stage dedicated entirely to electronic music.
Club feeling in the aqua park
A stage will be added to the festival site at Aquapark Antiguo between June 24th and 26th. Shielded from the rest of the event area by the vegetation, the new area will offer 3,000 square meters of space. According to the organizers, this should be “the most intimate space of the festival” and have a club character. More than twenty “international top electronic music artists” have already been announced.
International and domestic acts announced
Among them is Peggy Gou, who inspires both as an “icon of club culture” and with her own fashion label. Techno star Jeff Mills and “He is the Voice I Hear” interpreter The Blessed Madonna could also be won for the line up. The international DJ line-up is completed by Ben Ufo, monolinkMax Cooper, Cobblestone Jazz, Red Axes, Bradley Zero, Klik & Frik, Pahua and Ela Minus.
The Mallorca Live Festival also has local DJs to offer: Enric Ricone, The Southnormales, Aina Losange, Pucheros Atómicos, Los Dos, Ángeles Marqueño, Vik.T and Frink are supposed to rock the open-air club. All in all, it is “an innovative line-up that knows no conventions and is at the forefront of all national and international festivals of the genre”.
