Second division soccer team Fortuna Düsseldorf has gained another financial partner in time for the second free game as part of the “Fortuna for All” campaign.
As the club announced before the free entry game against FC St. Pauli (Saturday/8:30 p.m.), the Krefeld food company Yala had signed a contract until 2027.
The club did not provide any information about the financial donations. According to information from the “BIld” newspaper, the sponsor should pay around 750,000 euros annually.
For Fortuna, the partnership is the next step in implementing the new strategic direction “Fortuna for all”. The club started the pilot project this season with three home games with free entry. The first game took place last October against 1. FC Kaiserslautern, the last is scheduled against Eintracht Braunschweig in April.
