As soon as Jesper Lindström has said goodbye to Naples, his replacement is already there: the Algerian international Farès Chaibi is moving to Eintracht Frankfurt and thus increasing the options on the offensive.

Eintracht Frankfurt presented the next newcomer on Wednesday. As announced by the Hessians, the 20-year-old offensive player Farès Chaibi is moving from FC Toulouse to the Main and has signed a five-year contract. According to hr information, the transfer fee is around ten million euros.

Chaibi can be used variably

“With Farès Chaibi, we have a player who is young and capable of development and who can already show a lot of national and international experience,” said Eintracht sporting director Timmo Hardung. “He can be used variably in several offensive positions and brings attributes that will enrich our game.”

Chaibi, who scored five goals in 36 league games last season, can be used on either flank or as a striker and is accordingly scheduled to replace Jesper Lindstrom. After two years at Eintracht, the Dane joined the Italian champions SSC Napoli.
