Disney+ makes the full range of the Walt Disney Company available to its users. But not only for children there is a lot of content available, there is also a lot to stream for adults. In addition to the National Geographic innovations, the popular Star Wars universe and the superheroes from Marvel are also represented on Disney+. In addition, since February 2021 there has been an offer more geared towards adults called “Star”.
The program of the streaming platform grows every month. As a rule, the new products appear on a weekly basis, usually on Friday, just in time for the weekend. Here is the list of all the new series and movies coming to Disney+ in October 2022.
New movies on Disney+ in October
In September, a lot of blockbusters started on Disney+, especially on the occasion of Disney Day, including “Thor 4”. As expected, the offer flattens out somewhat in October, but still has a lot of exciting new films to offer. The streaming start of “Spider-Man: Far From Home” with Tom Holland as Peter Parker is worth mentioning. And the TV special “Werewolf by Night”, which introduces the eponymous comic hero into the MCU, should not only be on the screen of Marvel fans.
Hocus Pocus 2 – Coming September 30th
The sequel to the 1993 fantasy film hits Disney+ in late September. As in the first part, carelessness summons the Sanderson sisters to Halloween. The three leads – Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy – return to their roles as witches once again.
Marvel Studios’ Werewolf by Night – out October 7th
After Moon Knight and the forthcoming Blade, things get even darker for Marvel with this film adaptation of Werewolf by Night. The film introduces Jack Russel as a new hero in the MCU, played by Gael Garcia Bernal. The dark flick, which follows a man’s struggle between his cursed werewolf side and his desire for good, launches as a Halloween special on Disney+.

Spider-Man: Far from Home – out October 14th
After the events of “Endgame”, Peter Parker and his friends head to Europe for a summer vacation. The young man struggles with his identity as Spider-Man and the loss of his mentor, Tony Stark. When SHIELD asks him to help the mysterious “Mysterio” aka Quint Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal) fight dangerous elementals, Peter refuses. However, there is more to the matter than meets the eye.

New series on Disney+ in October
While Disney+ subscribers were able to look forward to the start of the new Star Wars series “Andor” and the second season “The Kardashians” in September, there will also be some new products in October. Among others there is the 11th season of the zombie series “The Walking Dead” and the 2nd season of the comedy hit “Big Shot”. Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is also the start of an exciting animated series that will take a closer look at various well-known characters from the universe.

Ex-CIA agent Dan Chase (Jeff Bridges) is on the run after accidentally killing a burglar. Due to various entanglements, however, he suddenly finds himself confronted with old enemies and supposed friends.
Damages: The Web of Power – out October 19th
Exciting legal series about a team of powerful women. Star lawyer Patty Hewes (Glenn Close) takes young law graduate Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne) under her wing.
Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi – Coming October 26th
The Star Wars series shows parts of the history of well-known Jedi Knights such as Ahsoka or Count Dooku on his way to darkness.
