Salamander has found a new owner in AstorMueller AG.
The Swiss shoe manufacturer announced on Thursday that it had taken over the shoe brand, which previously belonged to the Ara Group based in Langenfeld near Düsseldorf. In this way, AstorMueller wants to underline its commitment to expanding the portfolio and expanding the range of high-quality shoes. The new Salamander owner is behind the Italian shoe brand Bagatt and holds the school licenses for the Bugatti and Daniel Hechter brands.
The Ara Group has been looking for investors for the shoe brands Lloyd and Salamander since the end of June in order to focus exclusively on its own brand Ara Shoes in the future. No new owner has been found for Lloyd yet.
