New report highlights gun problem in US: 1 in 5 adults have family member who died by firearm

Most families in the United States have been affected by a firearm incident. This is shown by a new study by the American NGO Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) in which 1,300 people participated. The numbers are shocking: one in five adults has a family member who has been killed by a weapon (including murder and suicide), and one in six has witnessed a shooting.
