On Monday, the board of the Christian Reformed Church in Emmen reopened the door of the Bethel Church at the Sterrenkamp, in the center of Emmen. That building has been empty since the church community moved to the Ichtus church in the Emmermeer district. There is also or will be temporary shelter for asylum seekers in the Laarkerk in Zuidlaren and the Open Hof neighborhood center in Assen.
New reception center will be in Zoutkamp and not in Drenthe, but asylum seekers from Ter Apel will come to churches in Assen, Emmen and Zuidlaren
