New polar bear Bokk: “I love scoring goals”

Eisbären newcomer Dominik Bokk (22) was satisfied and relieved after the 6-2 win against Krefeld.

“I love scoring goals,” said the pro on loan from NHL club Carolina Hurricanes. And that worked equally well against Krefeld. Bokk scored the goal to make it 1-0. There were also two assists.

The winger: “It was great fun. It’s been a long time since I’ve scored a goal and it’s obviously very cool that it happened so quickly here.”

Things haven’t been going well for the international recently in North America. Bokk: “In the AHL (league below the NHL – ed.) I hadn’t played much and didn’t have that much self-confidence.” He was all the more pleased about his debut with the polar bears: “The team accepted me very well. I was able to show my game.”
