New personal record Lieke Klaver and win over 200 meters at European Championships for national teams

Lieke Klaver convincingly won the 200 meters at the European Championships for national teams. Klaver won in a personal top time of 22.46 seconds, beating Bianca Williams (22.75) well behind.

The athlete from Enkhuizen took 0.05 seconds off her PR. It was the fourth triumph for the Dutch team at this three-day European Championship. Zaankanter Menno Vloon won the pole vault. Femko Bol also took victory in the 400 meters and Klaver was part of the relay team that won the 4×100 meters.

The Dutch team finished in sixth place in the country ranking. A total of sixteen countries participated.
