New partners borrow PSV 30 million euros

PSV will receive a loan of 30 million euros from a new partner fund, which consists of five parties. The money is intended for investments in the Philips stadium and the training complex, the PSV Campus. It also offers the technical leadership of the club more opportunities to buy players.

“The five partners think along with PSV in a great way and ensure that the foundation under our club is further strengthened,” says PSV general manager Toon Gerbrands.

The same conditions apply to the new five parties as to the companies that joined the first partner fund that the club set up six years ago. In 2016, Philips, ASML, De Mandemakers Groep, Opportunity Partners and VDL Groep also made thirty million euros available to PSV.

The amount that PSV receives is a loan. PSV will only have to start paying off in ten years’ time.
