Entertaining sitcom by the twins Emil and Oskar Belton, who transfer the mockumentary principle known from “The Office” from the office to a run-down suburban supermarket. Thanks to star producer Christian Ulmen (“Jerks”), the who’s who of the German celebrity scene came together in season one at “Feinkost Kolinski”. In addition to rapper Nura as the lovable, loud-mouthed cashier Flora, Peter Fox, Fahri Yardim and Elyas M’Barek, among others, can be seen in smaller guest roles.

Although nobody really asked for another Joker film after Heath Ledger’s once-in-a-lifetime performance in Batman sequel The Dark Knight, director Todd Phillips managed to wow audiences and critics alike with 2019’s Joker. Phillips largely ignores the typical superhero bombast and stages a dark psychological thriller that can also be seen as a nod to New Hollywood classics such as Scorsese’s “Taxi Driver”. In the inevitable sequel “Joker: Folie à Deux”, leading actor Joaquin Phoenix is to receive support from US pop star Lady Gaga (“House of Gucci”) as no less murderous sidekick Harley Quinn.
