There will be shop & go places in the center, and the blue zone will also be expanded. The circulation in the center is changing, for example the Grote Markt is only accessible by car via the Ooststraat, and you can drive away via the Noordstraat.
Things are also changing for public transport. From January 6, the flex bus will replace the classic call bus. “Depending on demand, it will run from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. in the evening. That is two hours longer than today,” says Mayor Peter Roose. “On weekends it is even until 2 a.m.”
The adjusted mobility plan will be implemented step by step from next spring.
