New mobility plan in Tielt
The entire center will become zone 30, several streets will be closed to car traffic. The cycling zone will be expanded and cycle routes will be added from the edge of the city directly to the centre. Motorists in particular will have to get used to the new mobility plan. It will be evaluated later and adjusted if necessary.
The large car parks remain easily accessible by car. Ultimately, the car can go everywhere, but a detour will have to be made more often. The impact on businesses would be limited. But it’s new for everyone, so we’ll have to wait and see.
