MJM (Margreet) van Driel has been appointed mayor of the municipality of Papendrecht. The appointment will take effect on 8 February 2023.

Mrs Van Driel (61 years old) was an alderman in the municipality of Zoetermeer until June 2022.
Annemiek Jetten (PvdA) is currently acting mayor of Papendrecht.
