New Marvel Movies Starring Jonathan Majors Postponed | show

The two new Avengersparts planned for 2025 and 2026 have been postponed for a year. The Hollywood Reporter reports this on Tuesday. It’s about the movies Kang Dynasty and Secret Warswhich are now scheduled for 2026 and 2027. The two films are part of Marvel’s so-called ‘sixth phase’ and revolve around villain Kang.

Actor Jonathan Majors, who played this character in a number of films, is accused by his ex of attempted strangulation, assault and harassment. The trial of the lawsuit will start soon.

It is not clear whether the case is the reason for the postponement, and whether it will affect the film series in terms of content. The second season of the series Loki, in which Kang can also be seen, will appear on Disney + in October. However, it is not yet known how big the role of Kang will be. The lead roles in Loki are played by Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson.

The recordings of the new Avengersparts have not started yet. First comes a few other Marvel titles, such as dead pool 3 (May 2024), Captain America: Brave New World (July 2024) and Thunderbolts (Dec 2024).
