New main shareholder at the Krefeld penguins

The previous managing director and main shareholder of the Krefeld Pinguine, Sergey Saveljev, has left the DEL 2 ice hockey club with immediate effect. The penguins announced this on Thursday.

The KineCon group from Krefeld, led by entrepreneur Peer Schopp, is taking over the 80 percent share that the 26-year-old held in the penguins via Save’s AG.

The aim is to lead the team of head coach Peter Draisaitl back to the top quality in the long term at the traditional Krefeld location.
