Spurs contract until 2025
Tottenham Hotspur have found a new loan club for Sergio Regulión. After becoming redundant at Manchester United, the Spaniard is now moving on within London. Brentford FC announced the commitment on Wednesday evening.
“We’ve been talking for some time about the fact that we need a good left-back, and we managed to get a very good left-back,” said coach Thomas Frank about Reguilón’s loan. “Sergio is a perfect fit for us; a proven Premier League player in every respect.” Reguilón was also recently linked to Borussia Dortmund. His contract with Tottenham runs until 2025.

The Madrid native, who trained at Real, played in twelve competitive games for Man United this season. In January, the “Red Devils” made use of a termination clause because injured players, for whom the Spurs professional was primarily brought in as a replacement, returned. The six-time national player has played 67 games at Tottenham since 2020, in which he also contributed nine assists for two of his own goals.
