Well-known Colombian supplier Luis Carlos Velez, has said police at Hawkins’ death suite have told prosecutors they saw cocaine – like white powder in the room. According to another unconfirmed local report, several glasses had been found in the drummer’s room, which could indicate that guests were entertained in the suite.
In addition, according to data from the Colombian weekly Semana, Hawkins’ heart would have weighed at least 600 grams, which is double the average heart weight of a man his age.
