The goalkeeper of the major football club PSG Sergio Rico was injured in a serious horse accident at the end of May. The man who received kicks in the head and neck area was immediately rushed to Seville for treatment.
The hospital in Seville announced on Wednesday that the footballer’s condition is still serious. There was also good news. Rico was awakened from an artificial coma after 11 days, and the hospital describes the situation as “developing favourably”. The player is being monitored in the intensive care unit.
Rico gets a lot of support on social media. His teammate Keylor Navas wife Andrea Salas posted several pictures of Rico and her husband on various festive occasions on Instagram. In the happy pictures, Rico’s birthday was celebrated, among other things.

Missing her husband, Silva has said that she has not left her husband’s side since her accident. He thanked PSG via social media when Rico was remembered in the last game of that season and the players wore shirts decorated with his image.
