Transfermarkt’s database has grown by another league in Asia. Match reports, player and team information about the Saudi Arabian second league, the so-called Yelo League, can now be accessed.
The most valuable footballer in the league is the Algerian Haris Belkebla (Ohod Club) with a market value of 3 million euros, closely followed with 2.5 million euros each by ex-Atlético professional Luciano Vietto (Al-Qadsiah FC) and the German Alexander Hack ( Al-Qadsiah FC), long-time defender of 1. FSV Mainz 05. Other well-known faces from European football include Mbaye Diagne (Al-Qadsiah FC) and André Carrillo (Al-Qadsiah FC).
The first three teams are promoted to the Saudi Pro League at the end of the season, the clubs in the last three places go down to the third division.
