The police have distributed new images of one of the three explosions in Alkmaar. Last Monday the city was shocked by three explosions, which took place in the middle of residential areas. The perpetrators are still missing.

The first explosion happened around 4 a.m. at the Ruusbroechof. The second explosion was around 7:30 PM on Mesdaglaan and the last around 8:30 PM on Olieslagerstraat. There were no injuries. Mayor Anja Schouten called that ‘pure luck’.

Two men
It is not the first time that an explosion has occurred in the Olieslagerstraat. There was an explosion at the same house earlier, which happened on the night of January 13 to 14. On the images in tonight’s program Investigation Requested are scattered, two men can be seen walking past the house that night. Just before the explosion, they were both wearing winter coats and hoods.
A burning object was thrown at the front door of the house around 12:30 am. Then an explosion occurs and a fire starts. The residents escape unscathed.
Police have received five tips so far, but are still investigating the case.
