Luxury shoe retailer Manolo Blahnik has a new head of marketing, Jodie Blake.
Jodie will take up her new role as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with immediate effect, Manolo Blahnik announced on Thursday. She reports directly to CEO Kristina Blahnik and comes from our own ranks and has been Head of Marketing and Communications at the London headquarters since 2019, where she was responsible for the Content, Marketing and Events as well as Press and VIP departments. During this time she already worked closely with the previous CMO Carla Filmer.
Jodie previously worked for the British womenswear brand Self-Portrait as Head of Marketing and Communications, among others. Another stop was at the communications agency The Communications Store, where she led the PR strategies for brands such as Erdem, Emilia Wickstead, Max Mara and Oscar de la Renta.
“With her understanding of Manolo Blahnik’s business over the last five years and the experience she has gained in her previous roles in the luxury fashion industry, I am confident that Jodie is the perfect person to take on this role to take on the role,” said Blahnik.
