Burberry has appointed Alexandra McCauley to the position of Chief People Officer.
McCauley will take up her new role on November 15, the English fashion house announced on Thursday. She will be responsible for the company’s people strategy and will report directly to CEO Jonathan Akeroyd.
McCauley is currently working for the French fashion house Chanel in London as Head of Global Diversity and Inclusion and Global People Communications and Engagement. Before that, she worked for the US media group NBCUniversal and held senior positions in the field of human resources and industrial relations.
“Alex brings a wealth of experience building human and inclusive cultures in creative businesses, and she has a passion for helping people and organizations reach their highest potential,” said Akeroyd.
