A new documentary about André Hazes junior will soon be shown. The three-part documentary is called André Hazes: The Next Chapter and can be streamed weekly on Videoland from November 18, it was announced on RTL Boulevard on Thursday.
It is a follow-up to the Videoland documentary published last year André Hazes: Crossroads, in which the singer talked about his alcohol and drug addiction. In André Hazes: The Next Chapter the focus is on how things are going now Livesinger goes and how he has picked up his life since then.
“After I followed André during his struggle with addictions, I felt the story had not yet been told,” says the director of the new documentary, Cheeru Mampaey. “Rehab is one thing, but persevering and reshaping your life is another story. André again gave me the opportunity to follow him very closely for a year. The year in which he permanently breaks the circle and looks to the future despite setbacks.”
Hazes celebrated two years of sobriety last Saturday. He took a step back in 2021 due to a burnout. It later turned out that he also struggled with a drink and drug addiction. Hazes made his comeback at the beginning of this year during the Holland Zingt Hazes concert series.
