On January 5, 2023, the music documentary “FCK 2020 – Two and a half years with Scooter” will be released in cinemas. The film celebrates its world premiere on October 1st at the Hamburg Film Festival and sheds light on Scooter’s 2020 tour start, which was postponed two years.
With “FCK 2020” Scooter already released a declaration of war on the global pandemic, which was to blame for the fact that their tour had to be postponed two years ago. Director Cordula Kablitz-Post has accompanied the German techno group across Europe over the past two and a half years – privately, in the studio, on trips and live at concerts.
The film shows how the four band members dealt with the forced break caused by the corona. The documentation is accompanied by “hedonistic, life-affirming music”, according to the official press release. When the lockdown rules relaxed in spring 2022, Scooter were finally able to play their first live shows again.
