The Austrian clothing retailer Wolford AG is able to implement the change in the board of directors announced last autumn earlier than planned. The legwear specialist announced on Wednesday that Ralf Polito will take over the post of Chief Operating Officer (COO) on April 17th.
The supervisory board and Polito agreed on this solution “after he was able to resign from his previous position prematurely,” according to an ad hoc release. According to previous plans, the manager, who most recently worked as COO at the Passau-based clothing company Eterna, was not due to move to Wolford until the beginning of July. At his future employer, he will assume responsibility for the areas of supply chain and production, legal, investor relations, IT and PMO on the board.
Paul Kotrba, who has acted as interim COO at Wolford since last August, will now vacate his post on April 16. The company announced that he would take on “a new management position” within the parent company Lanvin Group.
