The Berlin online retailer Zalando is giving its shopping club ‘Zalando Lounge’ a new look and changing the name to ‘Lounge by Zalando’.
In this context, the company is also creating a new brand identity for the platform and app, Zalando announced on Friday. This includes a new logo for ‘Zalando Lounge’, which is based on a jewel symbol. In addition, the typography – a font from the family used for the Zalando Group – and the color palette have been adjusted.
‘Zalando Lounge’ offers its members new “campaigns with fashion and lifestyle products from coveted brands at reduced prices” every day, according to Berlin. The campaigns run for a maximum of 72 hours and offer discounts of up to 75 percent.
“Lounge by Zalando has proven that our shopping club inspires its members: 70 percent of the people who register in our shopping club also make a purchase,” said Kenneth Melchior, VP Lounge at Zalando. “From big brands at affordable prices to the hottest items of the season with amazing discounts, there is something new to discover every day at Lounge by Zalando. We reflect this exciting treasure hunt in the new brand identity and will continue to work on delighting our customers with great offers.”
The program was first launched in 2010 and is now available in 17 European countries.
