Anna Sofie Dolva is the new director of the Danish fashion fair CIFF, the organization announces. Dolva will take up her new post on August 5th.
Dolva will be responsible for the CIFF (Copenhagen International Fashion Fair), the CIFF Kids and the Designer Forum. The organization hopes that Dolva CIFF can help break new ground in other lifestyle segments in addition to classic fashion. Dolva succeeds the former director of CIFF Christina Neustrup, who has moved to Danish jewelry company Kinraden.
“Whether we’re talking about startups or global corporations, I’m concerned with how changing consumption patterns and social dynamics are becoming a driver rather than an obstacle,” Dolva said in a statement on Wednesday In my previous role, my challenge was to shift from physical to online commerce, now it’s about helping CIFF and the fashion industry to re-establish itself after a pandemic with completely new interfaces in terms of production forms and commercial needs.”
The CIFF is an international fashion fair that has been taking place since 1993. The fair takes place twice a year in the Bella Center in Copenhagen and runs at the same time as Copenhagen Fashion Week. The 59th edition will take place from August 10th to 12th.
