A new book about Amy Winehouse will be released on August 29, 2023. The title “Amy Winehouse: In Her Words”. The work was announced on Winehouse’s social media channels, which manage their heirs.
Coming this August, a new book, Amy Winehouse: In Her Words, will shine a spotlight on Amy’s incredible writing talent, her wit, her charm and lust for life.

The release date is two weeks ahead of the London musician’s actual birthday, who would have turned 40 this year. According to the pre-order text, the book is intended to give the reader an insight into “Amy’s never-before-seen diaries, handwritten texts and family photos”.
The work also includes a foreword by parents, Janis and Mitch Winehouse, who are in a press statement also commented, “This beautiful new collection of Amy’s notes and thoughts shows a different side of Amy – her fun and witty side.”
In addition, the proceeds from the sale of the book are to be fully donated to the “Amy Winehouse Foundation“ be donated, like that Rolling Stone reported.
Amy Winehouse made her international breakthrough with her 2006 album Back To Black. The success was tremendous. She won six Grammy Awards, and songs like “Rehab” and “You Know I’m No Good” became hits. However, Winehouse suffered from severe alcohol and drug problems that only got worse. She died of alcohol poisoning in 2011 at the age of 27.
