New approach to noise standards should ensure future motocross circuits

The Flemish government has a new approach ready for the noise standards of the permanent motocross circuits. The existing general exception principle is exchanged for a “tailor-made approach” with an individual assessment of each circuit. For example, according to the Flemish Ministers of Sport and the Environment, Ben Weyts and Zuhal Demir, “tailor-made exceptions can be granted, but with specific measures to limit nuisance to that neighborhood and to the environment”.
