Nonew Amsterdam 5 approaches the grand finale. About 9.15pm tonight Channel 5 the fourth episode is airedthe penultimate before Dr Max GoodwinRyan Eggold and the rest of his team take their leave forever. At the center of the episodes 10, 11 and 12 unexpected returns and important choices to make.
New Amsterdam 5: the plot of episodes 10, 11 and 12
In Don’t do it for meDr. Floyd Reynolds (Jocko Sims) he wants to give the right attention to his girlfriend Gabrielle (Toya Turner). At the same time, he would like her spend as much time as possible with his father, Horace (James McDaniel).

The doctor who managed to make Max’s heart beat must figure out whether to accept and give further impetus to her career or whether to stay at the New Amsterdam within the group led by Goodwin.

The triangle between Max, Helen and Elizabeth
The plot of the second episode aired tonight, entitled Free fallstarts from the return to the past that Max is forced to. His ex-girlfriend and ex-betrothed Helen Sharpe (Freema Agyeman) is back in New York. Goodwin learns it by chance, casually watching one of his interviews on TV.
It’s a hard blow: he doesn’t know how to deal with the return of what he thought was the woman of his life and he doesn’t know what impact it will have on the relationship with Elizabeth. He doesn’t have time to look for answers, that receives a message from Helen: she asks him if they can meet again.
Reynolds has as a patient the son of an old friend he met during his college years. He needs to have brain surgery and takes care of it personally to be sure that everything goes smoothly. In order for the intervention to have all the requisites to take place in the best way, he has to find a radioactive substancenot available in the hospital.
Max goes on a trip to the mountains with Elizabeth, Floyd, Iggy and Lauren. The day starts well, but ends with an emergency rush to the hospital. Before returning to the city, he confesses to Lauren that he has been dreaming for months of Helen returning, just to get all your questions answered. First of all, why did she abandon him?

His colleague and friend tells him that he was right to decline his invitation, because seeing her again would not do him any good. However, it is precisely Elizabeth who causes him to reflect. If he needs to meet her to clear his head, maybe he should, but Wilder has no intention of being part of a love triangle.. So Max has to figure out what’s right for him: whether to go back to the past or cultivate the present in view of a possible future.

New Amsterdam 5the finale of the fourth episode
The fourth installment of New Amsterdam 5 concludes with episode 12, entitled The right place. Max and Elizabeth are still together and live their story in the light of the sun. Doctor Iggy Frome (Tyler Labine) wants to help a homeless man. Lauren, on the other hand, is grappling with the search for a new apartment. She seems to have found the home of her dreams, but constant work commitments force her to give it up.
Dr. Reynolds is entrusted with a delicate case: a patient arrives at the hospital who has received an illegal lung transplant. Iggy doesn’t want to divorce Martin (Mike Doyle) and tries to rekindle their relationship. Martin is initially reluctant, but eventually grants him a date. Gabrielle is about to leave New Amsterdam to take a new job in Tanzania.
In the end, Max wants to present a drug that has proven effective against cancer. It’s about the drug that saved him from cancer long ago. To curb his enthusiasm is Elizabeth. Wilder informs him that the procedure was not performed correctly and Helen Sharpe is responsible. So the triangle moves to the professional level and it will be difficult for Dr. Goodwin to navigate between the two women.
