“Never experienced this”, weatherman from Anzegem will have to deal with the storm himself

Nicolas Roose constantly gives his followers information about the wind and the wind speeds. People were clearly looking for that info: in a few days he gained 2,000 extra followers on Youtube. The weatherman noted gusts of up to 140 kilometers per hour. “I’ve never experienced this.”

No storm chaser

Nicolas’ job is to interpret weather models and provide information to companies, journalists and individuals. He doesn’t go out to film a storm.

But he doesn’t have to go far to experience the storm up close. Dozens of roof tiles from his apartment also fall onto the street with him.
