Network cycling routes should help the search for foster families

The launch of the routes is no coincidence now: on the eve of the Tour of Flanders. The organization wants to look for new foster families. “Although the number of foster families is growing, the demand for childcare continues to increase even more,” says Jan Brocatus of Pleegzorg Vlaanderen.

Attention all summer

“We also see that foster families are less likely to apply for the care of adolescents, children with a disability or brothers and sisters that we like to keep together.”

The routes of Pleegzorg Vlaanderen will remain indicated all summer, by also linking an online competition to them, the organization hopes to keep its search alive for an entire holiday.
