In the station’s fall schedule, The CW noted that the seventh series of Riverdale will be shown in 2023 and that there will be no sequel. In March of this year, the channel announced that the series, which can be seen on Netflix outside the United States, was getting a seventh season.
Riverdale isn’t the only long-running series The CW is pulling the plug on. Also Legends of Tomorrow (seven seasons), Dynasty (five seasons) and Legacies (four seasons) will not be continued.
