Two years after having premiered the third season, this Wednesday, January 19, they arrive at Netflix new chapters of ‘The fringe’, the Argentine series created by Sebastian Ortega and starring Juan Minujín, Nicolás Furtado, Esteban Lamothe and Claudio Rissi. In prison fiction, one of the most successful in recent years in his country, he also has a prominent role Martina Gusman, who gave life to Kimmy, the friend of Aura Garrido’s character in ‘The Innocent’ by Mario Casas.
The production tells the story of the ex-police Miguel Palacios (Minujín), who enters the San Onofre prison as a convict with an invented sentence and a false identity, Shepherd. It’s all part of an elaborate plan to infiltrate a gang and solve the kidnapping of a judge’s teenage daughter in a prison plagued by corruption where violence reigns. The prisoners of ‘El marginal’, in fact, have nothing to envy to those of ‘Prison break’.
This fourth installment of ‘El marginal’, made up of eight episodes, is the direct continuation of the first season, since the second and third were prequels focused on how the Borges clan was formed and how they took control of San Onofre.
