Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday rejected the Palestinian extremist organization Hamas’ proposal for a ceasefire. He ordered the army to prepare an offensive on Rafah, the southernmost city in the Gaza Strip, and said victory over Hamas is “a matter of months.”
