Neither Jari Kurri nor Harry Harkimo is involved in the Joker’s league project

Helsinki Jokerit ry reportthat they don’t Jari Kurri and Harry Harkimo have nothing to do with the club’s league project.

Helsingin Jokerit ry owns the Jokerit trademark and has transferred it to the new background company with a long contract. According to Ry, neither Kurri nor Harkimo have a role in this new background company.

Jokeri’s return to the SM league is led by a new background company, whose co-owner is the Helsingin Jokerit ry, which runs Jokeri’s junior hockey.

Ry, however, does not yet tell the public which entities and which financiers are involved in the new background company, because the negotiations are still in progress. The goal is to return the Jokers to Finnish league hockey for the 2023–2024 season.

The Helsinki Jokerit Ry, which runs the junior hockey of the Jokers, who are eyeing a return to the domestic hockey league from the KHL, informs that Jari Kurri and Harry Harkimo have nothing to do with the new background company of the Helsinki club.

The Jokerit trademark is owned by Helsinki Jokerit Ry, and it has handed it over to a new background company to be managed under a long-term contract. According to the release, Kurri, who played a successful NHL career, and businessman Harkimo are not involved in the operations of the background company.
