Neil Young performs with David Crosby’s son and Stephen Stills

Neil Young and Stephen Stills are scheduled to perform at a charity show in April benefitting the NGO Autism Speaks. The company supports autism research. one report According to the late David Crosby’s son, James Raymond will join Young and Stills on stage.

The charity concert will be held on April 22 at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. Joining Raymond will be Willie Nelson’s son and country musician Lukas Nelson. Still’s sons Chris and Oliver will also be there. The only thing missing from the big fast reunion is Graham Nash,

The concert marks Neil Young’s first live performance since 2019. “We play [unsere] first show in four years, with old friends, for people with autism,” Young told ROLLING STONE. The charity project, Light Up the Blues, was started in 2013 by Stephen Stills. His son Henry suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of autism.

Patti Smith, Burt Bacharach and Crosby, Stills & Nash have performed for other benefit concerts. David Crosby passed away on January 18th. He made music with Stills and Graham’s Nash (as CSN) and at times with Young for almost 50 years, with a few breaks.
